How can i apply for a new iqama if Iqama lost or stolen-Saudi Arabia

Procedure for applying Lost/stolen Iqama in Saudi Arabia.


1. Inform the concerned authority in the Jawazat (Passports Department) or the police if there is no Jawazat office nearby.

2. A letter from the employer or head of the family's resident director of the Passports Department, explaining the reasons for the loss of residence permit and the place in which it was lost.

3. Present original valid passport and photo copy of the last Iqama, if any.

4. Fill in the appropriate form, which can be obtained from the Jawazat. Sign the form and get it stamped with the seal of the employer.

5. If the Iqama was lost for a period of less than one year, then the applicable fee shall be paid for one year (SR500) and at one of branches of banks licensed to do so, like Al-Rajhi Bank or Riyadh Bank.

6. Submit two recent photos (size 4cm × 6cm) (in white background).

7. Payment of fees and fine for loss of residence permit (SR1,000).
